Alisdair brings to SHIFT 25 years of experience in technology-driven companies ranging from global leaders like DuPont, and Abbott, to start-ups. Prior to joining SHIFT, Alisdair’s roles included Senior Vice President, Project Development; Senior Vice President, Business Development; Vice President, Strategic Initiatives at Plasco Energy Group and. Vice President, Operations at Kivuto Solutions. As an engineer, he co-authored several patents relevant to renewable energy production and control systems.. Alisdair holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) from Dalhousie University (formerly Technical University of Nova Scotia), and has completed executive education at Wharton School of Business in Pennsylvania. In his spare time, he volunteers with refugee settlement organizations, coaches youth soccer and trains for marathons.
