Alexander currently heads the Sustainable Business Development activities at the Borderstep Institute for Innovation and Sustainability. He leads the expansion of the StartGreen community platform for eco-entrepreneurs and the StartGreen Award. Previously he held a management position at the Institute for Social and Sustainable Oikonomics (ISSO). and the start-up incubator ISSOlab. In the field of sustainability, Alexander worked for diverse organizations such as BASF SE, the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) or the German-Australian Chamber of Commerce.. Alexander holds a BSc in Business Administration from Maastricht University and a MSc in Stakeholder Management and Sustainability from Erasmus University Rotterdam.
