Before setting up Wedel Art Advisory in 2006, Amelie von Wedel was responsible for the education and exhibition programme at The Red Mansion Foundation. As a former Bertelsman executive and art historian, Amelie advises corporate and private clients on collecting, philanthropy, the implementation of foundations and educational outreach programmes.. She has lectured and co-published books on contemporary art, as well as curating exhibitions for foundations, The Arts Club in London and private museums. Amelie serves as a director of Give A Future Foundation with the goal of mitigating the effects of poverty through education and economic development.. She is a member of the American Council on Germany and in 2009 she co-founded Intelligence Squared Asia with Yana Peel. In 2012 Amelie became Executive Director of Intelligence Squared Group.
