Through these collective efforts, the company – which successfully launched as a streaming soccer service in January 2015 – has evolved into a growing, leading virtual MVPD with over 315,000 customers as of December 2019. In April 2020, fuboTV merged with FaceBank Group, Inc. to create a leading digital entertainment company.. Prior to co-founding fuboTV, Horihuela was head of Latin America for SVOD service DramaFever (later acquired by Softbank and a part of Warner Bros. Digital Networks).. Horihuela is a serial entrepreneur, having also co-founded Primerad Network, where he was also CEO of this leading digital video ad network specializing in U.S. Hispanic markets, connecting brands to this audience via premium video publishers; and Dokarta, which helped local Chicago dining, health & beauty businesses attract customers during slower business periods via hyper-local and real-time deals. Formerly he also worked as an economist and analyst, with positions at Morgan Stanley and DeMatteo Monness.. Horihuela is trilingual (English, Spanish and Portuguese) and graduated from the University of Chicago in 2009 with a BA in Economics. He was named to the Multichannel News 40 Under 40 list in 2016.
