Alfred Klein, Alberta Health Services EMS Director Southern Communication Centre, is leading the EMS migration to the new Alberta First Responder Radio Communication System (AFRRCS). With 25 years of EMS experience Alfred has spent the last 5 years as part of a Management team operating 3 EMS communication Centres in Alberta Canada and developing a. solutions based approach to interconnecting disparate LMR, IP and satellite radio systems. Currently assigned to an IT role in AHS Alfred is representing EMS on the AFRRCS Interoperability and Standards Council and leading AHS EMS' equipment purchasing, procurement, implementation and migration to the provincial radio system for 3 communications centres and 700 EMS response vehicles.
