Prior to joining Unirisx LLC, Akhil Tripathi was the Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer at Harleysville Insurance. In this position, he directed the company’s information technology strategy, integration and development efforts. He was responsible for all automated systems, including corporate management information systems, agency. interface systems, policy processing systems and emerging technologies. He also oversaw insurance operations and services, which included Harleysville’s call center, agency service center, insurance business processing and BPO and IT outsourced services. He has been recognized with numerous industry accolades, including being named as one of the Movers & Shakers in Insurance IT for 2011 by the Insurance & Technology publications.
