Aldi Haryopratomo joined Gojek with a vision to accelerate the adoption of financial services for the un- and underbanked. He is the co-founder of MAPAN, an Indonesian group-saving network acquired by Gojek Group in 2017. Aldi built MAPAN because he believes that harnessing the power of communities can boost equality. He grew the company from. inception to the organisation it is today, with nearly 1,000 employees serving over 2,5 million families in 115 cities across Indonesia.. Aldi has dedicated his entire career to supporting lower income communities to improve their lives. He was an early employee at Kiva, a San Francisco based non-profit organization, for which he toured around Indonesia, Cambodia, and Vietnam on a motorbike in search of micro-finance banks. He then worked at The Boston Consulting Group focusing on clients targeting bottom-of-the-pyramid consumers. His work included the development of a business model for agent banking in Pakistan.
