Bang Bang was the first Indian film to introduce the sport of flyboarding as a stunt. However, in the process of executing this stunt, Hrithik suffered an injury which led to a subdural haematoma. It wasn't caught in the initial CT scan and thus the blood continued to build up within the cerebral membranes and kept putting pressure on his brain. Finally, after two months of acute headaches, another check was carried out. This exposed the clot, and necessitated emergency brain surgery.
