Previously, Amitabh spent seven years at Cisco in the Emerging Markets and Applications Oriented Networking groups. Prior to that, he was VP-Business Development at InSync, an RFID solutions company, and Director-Telecom Solutions at Vitria, an EAI platform company. He started his career at Digital Equipment Corp, where he co-authored TPC Benchmark. C, the most widely used OLTP benchmark. Amitabh holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Cornell University and a Masters in Mathematics from Indian Institute of Technology (Kanpur).
