Adam S. Hickey is the Deputy Assistant Attorney General for National Asset Protection and manages the National Security Division’s efforts to combat national security threats from computer intrusions and attacks, economic espionage, proliferation and foreign investment. Prior, he was NSD’s Acting Deputy Chief for Cyber in the Counterintelligence. and Export Control Section, supervising criminal investigations of state actors for malicious cyber activity affecting the private sector and critical infrastructure. Before NSD, he served as the Deputy Chief of Appeals in the Southern District of New York focusing on national security, terrorism and international drug and arms trafficking. Mr. Hickey practiced at Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz in Manhattan and is a graduate of the Yale Law School.
