Prior to this Allen spent eleven years with specialty chemical producer Elementis in various technical and commercial roles, largely involved in the development of nano metal oxide products and markets.. Allen also spent three years. as Business Development Director of NanoCentral, an industrial alliance of organisations active in nanomaterial commercialisation.
