Amber McCormick currently serves as a K-5 Global Studies teacher at Ridgeview Global Studies Academy in Davenport, Florida. She also teaches two middle school courses—6th grade digital media creations, and seventh grade coding and robotics. Ms. McCormick is implementing a new mentoring program with her seventh grade robotics class to teach coding. basics to students in grades kindergarten through third grade. Amber, a Nationally Board Certified Teacher, is an avid lover of technology and loves to make digital connections with her students whenever possible. In the professional community, Amber serves as an Ambassador for Buncee, AugThat, Bloxels, as well as Marbotic. Her passions include sketchnoting, global education, augmented reality, and encouraging student voice. She is actively involved in her Twitter PLN and has been a speaker at many EdCamps, FETC, ISTE, and ST4T.
