Mr. Mikati is an Economics graduate from the American University of Beirut. In 1980, he joined the Amiantit group of companies in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Since 1984, he has been member of our group starting both as Sales Manager for the Building Material division and in charge of related manufacturing divisions. He regularly secured very large barter. deals with Eastern Europe countries such as Poland and Romania.. In 1991 he was appointed as "Owner's Representative" for the construction of a 45,000 CBM refined products tank farm and loading terminal, a state of the art facility, in north Lebanon.. In 2005 he established and very successfully grew our Qatari operations "Conapro Dena Bms" - An operation and maintenance company specialized in marine oil terminals and support vessels. Conapro, with the cooperation of Seacor Environmental Services and under the supervision of USAID, helped in the cleanup of this Century's worst marine disaster in the Mediterranean that was caused in 2006 by the Israeli attack on Lebanon.. In 2008 he was appointed to his current position as President of the Group's GCC operations where he directs our head offices in Khobar, Saudi Arabia and in Manama, Bahrain.
