He was set to reprise his role of Agent Phillip Jeffries from Twin Peaks: Fuego camina conmigo (1992) in Twin Peaks (2017) but due to his health declining he was unavailable. Although he passed away before the start of the production his character appeared in the new series via archive footage with voice actor Nathan Frizzell dubbing the new dialogue's lines.
