Her mother, Maryen Lorrain, was a member of Dance Masters of America for five decades, and ran several dance studios, where she first picked up dance. Abby had a white Bichon Frise dog named Broadway Baby who passed away in 2012. In April 2018, Abby was diagnosed with cancer.
