Has over 20 years of experience in executing and managing complex financial instruments in natural gas, crude oil, refined products and power commodities across North America. He set up BP Canada’s natural gas trading operation in the early 2000s, and has led major asset management and trading & marketing organizations for TransCanada, where his. groups consistently generated income over $100 million a year.. Mr. Rawji has provided trading and risk management expertise to large energy companies in Calgary and Houston. He was instrumental in the development of a $300 million greenfield storage development in Edson, Alberta. He held overall responsibility for marketing, trading and operations for 100 bcf of North American storage capacity.. Mr. Rawji is currently on the Board of Directors of Warwick Gas Storage Inc., which is owned by Brookfield Asset Management and Perpetual Energy.
