Adam Grogan is Senior Vice President, Marketing and Innovation at Maple Leaf Foods. In this capacity, Mr. Grogan is responsible for leading the growth of Maple Leaf’s retail fresh and prepared meats business in the areas of marketing, innovation and product development, and category management. In addition, he oversees Marketing Strategy, Consumer. Affairs, Digital Media, Packaging, Packaging Graphics and the Company’s ThinkFOOD! Innovation Centre.. Mr. Grogan has more than 16 years of experience with Maple Leaf Foods in areas such as supply chain management, category management, brand marketing and customer business development. Prior to his current role, he was Vice President and General Manager, Retail Sales for Maple Leaf Consumer Foods, where he was responsible for leading the Company’s cross-functional retail selling and customer business development efforts in Canada and the United States for Maple Leaf’s portfolio of retail branded and private label products. In this capacity, he led Maple Leaf’s Customer Business Teams and oversaw the joint business planning process, which resulted in the development of strong retail customer relationships and the expansion of the Company’s fresh pork, poultry and prepared meats businesses.. Mr. Grogan holds an Honours Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Wilfrid Laurier University and a Masters of Business Administration from York’s Schulich School of Business. In 2013, he won the Generation Next Award, which recognizes leaders under the age of 40 for Outstanding Innovation and Contribution to the Canadian Grocery Industry.
