Ahmed Mikkawi is Co-Founder and mentor at Innoventures. His responsibility encompasses investor relations and other partnerships, financial planning and review, as well as coaching start-ups developing their business plans. Ahmed has a 10-year background in the technology, media and telecom industry, including previous roles at Ericsson and Alcatel in a sales and tendering capacity. He is also heavily involved in economic development in Egypt and the Middle East, centered around entrepreneurship and linking industry with academia, through role as GOLD Chairman for the IEEE in Egypt, from 2005 through 2009.. Ahmed is currently pursuing an MBA from London Business School. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Communications and Electronics Engineering from Cairo University and a Master of Science in Management of Technology from Nile University.
