Alison joined Guinness World Records in 2008 to lead the combined disciplines of the brand’s professional services across Finance, IT, Legal and HR.. In the last six years, Alison has executed and supported the successful global expansion of the Guinness World Records brand in Japan, China and the Middle East. Alison began her career at Coca. Cola UK Ltd where she qualified as a chartered management accountant.. Prior to joining Guinness World Records, Alison spent 9 years at Virgin Retail Limited where she also qualified as a chartered certified accountant, working firstly as the European Financial Controller, overseeing the sale of several overseas subsidiaries before moving into a corporate role as Group Finance Manager, responsible for the consolidation over 30 companies with a combined turnover in excess of $500m.
