Ammar Al Malik is the Director of Business Development for Dubai Internet City (DIC), the MENA region’s largest ICT hub and Dubai Outsource Zone (DOZ), a modern, hi-tech business hub dedicated to the growth of the global outsourcing industry.. In his current role, Ammar is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, and nurturing. relationships with the business parks’ existing partners. Ammar also works to ensure the effective implementation of TECOM Investments’ overarching strategy; to be a world-class developer and operator of business parks while delivering maximum value to shareholders.. Ammar joined TECOM Investments in 2005 and most recently held the position of Director of Operations at DOZ. In this role, he oversaw all of DOZ’s operations, successfully maintaining occupancy rates at a level of over 95% from 2009 to 2012. Ammar was also responsible for driving new initiatives to develop DOZ into an outsourcing industry hub, which since its inauguration in 2007, has attracted top global names including Serco BPO, Interglobe and Emirates Airlines.. Previous roles include Strategic Planning Officer for Dubai e-Government. Ammar holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the Kwansei Gakiun University in Japan.
