Leading the Remitly legal team, Aaron draws upon his experience at the intersection of technology and regulation to deliver a world-class financial product compliant with the needs of a complex global regulatory environment. For his work at Remitly driving the modernization of global payment networks, Aaron was named the Seattle area’s In-House. Innovator by the Puget Sound Business Journal. Prior to Remitly, Aaron served as the general counsel for SmartSenseCom, a fiber optic sensing systems company and in the law firms of Dentons LLP and Kelley Drye & Warren LLP. He holds a JD and MBA from The George Washington University and a BA in political science from Amherst College.
