Kaplan brings to PointGrab over 20 years of experience as both a leader and a manager of various development teams in the fields of computer vision, image processing and input devices. Before founding PointGrab, Mr. Kaplan led a development team of over 10 engineers at N-trig Ltd., where he focused on the development of innovative input devices for. surface computing systems.. Prior to N-trig, Mr. Kaplan led the Software Group at 3DV Systems, a provider of 3D cameras, where he was responsible for the development of real-time image processing systems. Before joining 3DV, Mr. Kaplan led an algorithm team at Scidel Ltd., where he focused on the development of real-time computer vision algorithms. Prior to Scidel, Mr. Kaplan worked for approximately ten years at Scitex Ltd. where he managed various software teams responsible for developing image processing applications for the pre-press industry.. Mr. Kaplan holds a B.Sc. in Mathematics & Computer Science and an MBA in Finance from Tel Aviv University.
