Marc Scizak

Born in Walnut Creek, California Marc was into action sports from the time he could walk: BMX bikes, racing and freestyle, designing rope swings, cliff and bridge jumping. In high school he played varsity soccer, track and was first team all league in volleyball.At 19 Marc started racing cars and motorcycles and still does to this day. Growing up near the water Marc has been knee-boarding, skiing, wakeboarding and driving boats most his life. In college Marc spent his winters working as ski patrol in Tahoe. After college Marc trained as an EMT and then joined the fire academy. Graduating top of his class he started working for Cal Fire, ultimately spending 3 years with them.At 21 Marc was introduced to his dream job, being a stuntman. His first stunt job was part of a live show at Marine World in Vallejo, CA where he played Jeff of the Jungle. The rest was history... Marc started training in every discipline he could: High falls, fights, Taekwondo, boxing, cars and motorcycle racing, tactical weapons and wire work.At the age of 32 Marc added Stunt Coordinator to his resume. In 2013 Marc became the youngest Emmy nominated coordinator at that time. As of 2019 he has been nominated for three Emmys. In 2016 Marc joined the DGA as a second unit director.Marc is a fixed wing pilot with 10 years of flight experience under his belt. In his free time Marc still enjoys flying, racing cars and motorcycles. He is also an avid freediver and spear-fisher diving to depths of 100 plus feet where he can hold his breath for several minutes at a time.
