He was also Chairman of Emergency Medicine at Aultman Hospital, a large trauma, cardiac, and stroke center seeing nearly 90,000 patients annually. In this same time period, Akhil has served at the local, state, and national levels within emergency medicine, healthcare quality, information technology, managed care, and emergency medical services.
