He has skied, trekked, and dogsledded the remotest regions of the world while delivering unique online learning experiences to students worldwide. A University of Minnesota full. professor and director of the Learning Technologies Media Lab there, Aaron is also a laureate of the prestigious Tech Awards, which honor innovators applying technology to benefit humanity. He is a fellow for the Royal Canadian Geographical Society, the Explorers Club, and the University of Minnesota Institute on the Environment.
