Alex has held executive roles at Cloudmark and at Inktomi, where he was General Manager of Search.. He worked at Netscape, where he product managed the early versions of Netscape Navigator, and at Microsoft, playing a key design role in the Microsoft Exchange email system and what ultimately would become Microsoft Outlook.. Alex earned a BA. Degree from Harvard University, and an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley. He serves on the board of Kiva.org, a non-profit facilitating micro-lending in developing countries.
