Ajay Chandwani is Director on the board of Percept Limited since 2009. Ajay was CEO, Percept H advertising from 2005 TO 2009 looking after the agency that is a joint venture between Percept and Hakuhodo of Japan. He was earlier with Lowe Lintas as Director on the Management Committee , handling Unilever Personal Products and New Business. Development. He was instrumental in building Unilever brands Fair & Lovely, Pepsodent, Close Up and Pears apart from being Unilever international coordinator on Personal Products. Ajay founded SSC&B Lintas and was it’s President for 10 years. SSC&B Lintas at it’s peak became a 100 Cr agency with clients like Unilever Kwality Walls, Marico, Tata Motors, Mercedes Benz, Smirnoff, Green Label whisky, Tata Motors Hero Group, Hyundai, Vardhaman among others. SSC&B Lintas won over 100 International awards-Golds at the New York Festival, Montreux Festival, London Festival and many other prestigious awards. SSC& B Lintas was the first Indian agency ever to win a Cannes Gold in 1996. Ajay has been an Executive Member of the Ad Club Management Committee since 8 years and is currently Joint Secretary . Ajay has been on the awards jury of the New York festivals and the Montreux Advertising festival. He was the Chairman of the Abby Awards judging committee for 7 years upto 2010. After chairing the Creative Abby Award judging at Goafest for 3 years, Ajay is now a member of the Goafest Abby Award Governing Counci since last year. Ajay was Co–Chairman of DMAi Convention held in Mumbai in August 2012. Ajay is also on the Governing Board of DMAI and was Chairman of Echo Awards India in 2012. In the last 3 years Ajay has advised Percept Ltd on Corporate Strategy, New Business,Image building and new investment. He has also been also working independently as a Strategic Brand Consultant. Ajay is Member, Advisory Board of Miami Ad School, Mumbai. Ajay has keen interest in serious Photography (Wildlife & Travel), Collecting Art, Antiques and is an Audio & Music enthusiast with interest in Rock and Jazz.
