Alison has many years of experience as a primary teacher and, more recently, has been in a leadership role within a team of advisory teachers for SEND in Birmingham Local Authority. This work has included supporting schools in their strategic development of whole school provision, with a particular focus on pupils with learning and cognition. difficulties.. Now in post as Education Development Officer (EDO) for nasen, Alison is working in partnership with schools and settings on a national basis and is involved in a range of exciting projects, all of which support nasen’s aims to secure the best outcomes for children and young people with special educational and additional needs.
