Before founding Huneo in 2009, Alex Zheng was a Director of Development for OSIsoft, the world's leading provider of time-series data historian and real-time information management systems. He was responsible for managing the development of OSIsoft’s flagship product, the PI System server, as well as interfaces to third party systems,. analytical tools, and remote management products.. From 1996 to 2000, Alex Zheng was a Professor in Chemical Engineering at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.. Alex Zheng received a BS in Chemical Engineering at Clemson University in 1990, and a PhD in Chemical Engineering and Dynamical Control Systems at the California Institute of Technology in 1995. Alex Zheng has won many prestigious awards in his career, including the National Science Foundation’s CAREER Award and UMass’s College of Engineering Teacher of the Year.
