AJ Hashim has lead the Innovation and Emerging Technology team for the past 4 years, developing future technology strategies and executing through proof of concepts in the Corporate Bank. He has delivered a number of high profile initiatives for the bank, pioneering the use of AI and Blockchain across the technology estate. He previously did his. Masters research into the optimization of making financial decisions using artificial neural networks, and has a passion for the commercial applications of new technologies.. Previously he has successfully launched 2 start-ups, including a social media marketing company which later received a £20m investment. Seen as a leader in the Technology space, Ajwad was recently voted runner up for the Rising Star 2019 award by Computing magazine and is currently being evaluated for the Forbes 30 under 30 in Tech list. As a pioneer in the technology sector, Ajwad is regularly invited to speak at global conferences on the future of Technology and Artificial Intelligence, including keynotes at London Tech Week.
