Allen Lu is the CTO and co-founder of AdaptiLab, a B2B SaaS Startup that builds data-driven solutions to companies' biggest challenges in the machine learning talent pipeline. Allen is an experienced software engineer and published ML researcher, with particular focus in natural language processing. He owns a degree in computer science from. Carnegie Mellon University, where he spent time researching spoken dialog systems and abstractive text summarization. Previously, Allen held positions at both Google and Microsoft. At Google, he worked on improving search results with contextualized intent prediction. At Microsoft, he worked in the research branch (MSR) to automate Microsoft's customer service with turn-based spoken dialog systems. Allen currently lives in Bellevue, Washington and enjoys spending free time outdoors or on the water.
