Born on January 4, 1997, Joe Acierno is a filmmaker born and bred in Long Island, New York. He's also the founder of Natural Multimedia, a media production company dedicated to honest and original motion pictures.Joe has directed four short films. The first was "The Time Bomb" which was released on YouTube on July 13, 2018, and follows a few thugs who are strangers to each other as they hide out together after messing up a robbery. The second film and Joe's senior thesis film was "A Night to Remember" which was released on YouTube on June 21, 2019, follows a shy guy who goes to a party for a girl he really likes but things go south when unwanted visitors break into the party. Lastly is, "All I Ask Is" which follows a reunion between two friends that goes sour after bad intentions come into play. The film premiered at the NYC Festival of Cinema on August 7, 2019, and was released on Vimeo. His upcoming film, "The Playboy of Park Slope" is in post-production and is slated to be submitted to film festivals in 2022.A cinephile since he was young, Joe has hosted multiple movie-related talk shows. The first was "Red Storm Reel", from when he was a film student at St. John's University and an active member of the university's student-run television station, WREDtv. The second was "Reel Talk with Joe Acierno" which ran from late 2019 to mid 2020. Both shows are online. Starting in late 2020, Joe started hosting another film-talk podcast called "Cinema Unchained", this time with friend and frequent collaborator, Darius Delsoin.
