Amirreza obtained his B.Sc. degree from the University of Tehran, Iran. During his B.Sc. program, Amirreza was involved in organizing three national and international symposiums, giving him the experience of social interactions, networking and detailed planning of various events. After moving to Canada and receiving his M.Sc. degree from the. University of Alberta, he started his Ph.D. program in 2012 with the ambition to learn more in the area of water treatment and gain hands-on experience. During this time, he managed to design and build a new water treatment technology capable of dealing with hazardous contaminations with persistent nature such as pharmaceutical contaminations. Currently, Amirreza oversees the development of innovative water treatment technologies.
