Alex Lopez joined Knight Foundation in November 2007. He came to the foundation from The Miami Herald, where he worked in the finance department.. Lopez is the foundation’s main administrative contact on investment matters in addition to supporting investment accounting. He is also in charge of monitoring all of the foundation's investment. cash flows and acts as a resource to staff on grantee business capacity issues.. Lopez holds a Bachelor's Degree in Finance as well as a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Florida International University
