Alex has been investing in and advising consumer product companies for the last 16 years. Alex was a General Partner and Managing Director at TSG Consumer Partners, and a member of its investment committee. He joined TSG’s predecessor, The Shansby Group, in 1998. He was a board member of Smart Balance, NV Perricone, Harry’s Fresh Foods, Island. Oasis, PopChips and Stumptown Coffee Roasters. He has also been a personal investor in such companies as Robert Graham, Serena & Lily, Nest Fragrances & Flywheel. He holds a BS and MBA, both from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. Alex lives in New York City.
