Abhinav (Abhi) is currently the VP of Product and Program Management at Western Union. Abhi leads the global digital functions for product management, portfolio management, program management, UX, content and site operations for WU digital.. Abhi joined WU in 2012 as Director of Fraud product and built the fraud management stack and operations.. From 2015-2016, he led the mobile product team to build and launch mobile apps in 70+ countries. Since 2017, he has led the growth of digital footprint from 25 countries to 92 countries, expanded WU’s omnichannel footprint to 70+ countries and built a global diverse delivery organization that runs digital product and operations.. Prior to joining WU, Abhi spent time at hi5, a social gaming platform with 70M customers, and led the development of ML based monetization engine, which helped double the revenue conversion from 1% to 2% of MAU.. Prior to joining hi5, Abhi spent time at various companies in the bay area, including Cisco, Vindicia (acquired by Amdocs), FirstRain (acquired by Ignite) in product and engineering lead roles.. In addition, Abhi also advised multiple startups – EmailAge, CyberFend (acquired by Akamai), Danal (Acquired by Boku) in product strategy, fraud, payments, motentization, go-to-market, technology, KYC, Identity management, Agile, mobile apps, web apps, ecommerce, etc.
