Mr. Stewart is responsible for managing the financial risks, financial planning & strategy, critical financial record-keeping and financial reporting of Epsilon Systems. Mr. Stewart is the San Diego Business Journal’s (SDBJ) honoree as CFO of the Year for 2013 in the large private business category and won the same award in 2007.. Prior to. his position at Epsilon Systems, Mr. Stewart was CFO of High Technology Solutions (HTS), which was acquired by Wireless Facilities, Inc., currently Kratos Defense.. During his seven years at HTS, Mr. Stewart was instrumental in all aspects of the company’s strategic and financial initiatives. Mr. Stewart was responsible for the acquisition and integration of many technology firms and successfully completed several debt rounds and a $17 million dollar private equity financing from large institutional investors, including GE, Intel, Ford Motor Company and Hambrecht & Quist.. Under his financial leadership, HTS achieved significant strategic and financial success. Mr. Stewart led the successful sale of HTS to Wireless Facilities, Inc. in early 2004.. Prior to joining HTS, Mr. Stewart served over 10 years as a nuclear engineer in the United States Submarine Force. Mr. Stewart received his BS degree, with distinction, from the U.S. Naval Academy and his MBA from Harvard Business School.
