Abby-Gail Chaffatt is the Deputy Chief of Compliance Officer at WePay, the provider of integrated payment processing for Constant Contact, GoFundMe, Meetup, and more than 1,000 other online platforms. Before joining WePay, Abby advised banks, money service businesses, and financial technology companies on risk management and compliance matters as a. consultant with Promontory Financial Group. She started her career at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York as a senior compliance analyst, where she provided regulatory guidance on AML and counter-terrorist-financing compliance and OFAC sanctions. She also participated in the Federal Reserve System’s virtual currency work group and in the FRBNY’s data-privacy program. Abby earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Florida and a J.D. from Boston University School of Law.
