Alexander Alan Molyneux, also known as Alex, BEc has been the Chief Executive Officer of Paladin Energy Ltd. since February 2016. Mr. Molyneux is the Founder of Azarga Uranium Corp. He served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Azarga Uranium Corp. until August 2015. Since 2012, he co-founded Azarga Resources Group a private partnership. focused on minerals sector merchant investment. He served as an Interim Chief Executive Officer of Paladin Energy Ltd. since August 10, 2015 until February 2016. Mr. Molyneux served as the President of SouthGobi Resources Limited from April 27, 2009 to September 12, 2012 and served as its Chief Executive Officer from October 11, 2009 to September 12, 2012. He served as the Managing Director and Head of Metals & Mining Investment Banking, Asia Pacific with Citigroup. Mr. Molyneux acted as an adviser to HOPU Investment Management with respect to its initial investment in Paladin. He has spent approximately 12 years providing advice and investment-banking services to mining, metals and industrial corporations. He joined Citigroup from UBS in early-2007 as Head of Metals & Mining Investment Banking and rapidly established Citi as a leading metals and mining investment banking business in Asia.
