Dr. Alan Weiss joined Enzymatics, Inc. (Beverly, MA) in April, 2013 as Director of Business Development.. Prior to joining Enzymatics, Dr. Weiss was a Director of Strategy and Business Development at EMD Millipore (a division of Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany).. Dr. Weiss was with EMD Millipore (formerly, Millipore Corporation) for 26. years; 20 years in positions of increasing responsibility in Research and Development prior to his role in strategy and business development.. Dr. Weiss has a BS degree in Biology and Chemistry from the University of Miami (Coral Gables, FL) and a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from Boston University (Boston, MA).
