Alex Burkhart is Uptech’s Entrepreneur-in-Residence. Alex left the corporate world to start Tixers, a member company in Uptech’s 2nd class, in September of 2013. Within 18 months, Alex built completely from scratch a team, brand, product, and consumer/enterprise level client bases that generated hundreds of thousands in revenue. In. addition to this he raised a seed funding round through angel investors/pitch competitions and was acquired by a sports mobile app company located in Florida.. Alex is a strong believer in the Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky startup ecosystem and is consistently supporting as many initiatives within it that he can. He is also on a few Entrepreneurial and Marketing boards for Xavier University’s business school and basketball program which is also where he received his degrees from.
