Abraham Kazzaz’s drive to develop and sell new technologies can be traced back to his pre-professional days. Whether he was pulling apart toys as a child, to see how they worked, or building and selling custom gaming PCs in high school, he’s been putting new and better solutions in people’s hands for a long time.. Growing up in Sydney, Australia. it was natural that he would attend the University of Sydney. He studied there for 8 years earning degrees in civil and structural engineering as well as a business degree in management. Abraham has had the opportunity to work on infrastructures all over the world from the Scottish highlands to the Mojave desert and to the depths of the Gulf of Mexico. While pursuing a Ph.D., he decided his expertise could be helpful toward a different, but greater cause – preserving the world’s most precious resources through technology. In turn, he co-founded Abyss Solutions.. “Abyss is on the brink of filtering our technology into normally unattended offshore facilities, farms, dams, ports, bridges, and the like with aerial drones, crawler robots, and autonomous surface and underwater robots. These robots move around looking for defects like corrosion and cracks. In the future, they will be able to detect anomalies like spills, leaks, weeds, or pests as well and be able to intervene and correct these hazards,” said Abraham. Since first founding Abyss, Abraham has realized the endless possibilities to change the world for the better. He is constantly pushing Abyss to be on the cutting edge of developing autonomous systems of the future.
