"It all started on a rainy day in Vancouver (well, I'm not sure if it was raining or not, but it was October in Vancouver) back in 1978. To escape that rain, I'd go traveling, always with a "small" collection of trusted guidebooks. Pokin would always bug me about just how many I'd have with me (sometimes 1/2 my. backpack would be full of books).
