Akhil is Chief Product Officer, LexisNexis - Europe, Middle East and Africa. Prior to that Akhil was Vice President, Products at Perspica Inc. Akhil came to Perspica Inc. from HP. As Sr. Director of Products at HP, Akhil managed end to end Enterprise-wide solutions strategy, planning and management. Prior to that, at Dell, as Director of Products, Akhil led global product planning and management of Dell’s Converged Infrastructure product line. He also led Gale Technologies to its successful acquisition by Dell as VP of Products. While at Cisco he led business development for service providers for VCE coalition and at VMware, he managed global product strategy for vCloud Software with focus on applications and Virtual Appliances product line. Prior to that, at HP, he successfully managed and led R&D teams to incubate and productize cutting edge technologies in the area of Web Services, Application and Service Management.. He has published over 80 peer-reviewed technical articles, authored a book, chaired multiple International IEEE/IFIP Conferences and has filed 20 technology Patents (with 17 granted).
