Alex is co-founder and CEO of PressReader, the world’s largest digital newspaper and magazine platform. Essentially ‘Netflix for news,’ PressReader allows users unlimited reading of more than 7,000 newspapers and magazines from around the world, including The Washington Post, The Globe & Mail, The Guardian, Bloomberg Businessweek, Vogue, GQ,. Rolling Stone – you name it. Alex has been at the helm of the company since co-founding it in 1999, scaling PressReader’s technology, infrastructure, people and partnerships. He currently leads the more than 500 people working at PressReader’s offices around the world, and is heavily focused on defining and executing a strategy that will allow PressReader to continue its recent rapid growth. Alex has a razor-sharp business acumen, and has guided PressReader to achieving and maintaining profitability for the last 12 years -- a rarity in the media industry.
