Alessandra Zonari graduated in Biological Sciences by PUC-Minas (Brazil), where she received her Master and PhD degree in Immunology by UFMG (Brazil). During her PhD she worked at 3B’s Research Group of University of Minho, where she continued her work as a post-doc for a year. Her work during her PhD was awarded with ‘Best Thesis Award’ by UFMG. (Brazil). With great experience in cell culture, stem cells and tissue engineering. She currently develops her scientific activity at Biomaterials and Stem Cells Lab (CNC – University of Coimbra).
