Alan Mond is an industry veteran with over 30 years’ experience in timing and frequency control.. Prior to joining Sand 9, Alan was the Vice President and General Manager for the Communications BU at Vectron International Inc.. Under Alan's leadership Vectron became the leader in precision timing to all of the major telecommunications. s equipment manufacturers for both fixed and mobile applications. He also spearheaded product roadmap development, resulting in a number of leading edge products to support next generation timing needs for LTE and IEEE-1588.. Prior to joining Vectron, Alan was the Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Clarisay Inc., a Dallas-based startup specializing in RF SAW filters, where he helped raise over $15M in venture funding.. Alan has over ten years of experience working as Vice President Sales and Marketing, with extensive expertise in sales growth, product development and brand awareness and solid knowledge of the Communications, Industrial and Military/Space markets.. Alan holds a B/TEC HNC in Mechanical and Production Engineering as well as a degree in Business Administration. Alan is also an alumnus of the Dover Leadership Academy (DELLA).
