As CEO of LiveLeaf, Alex brings a passion for problem solving, crossing technology boundaries, and breaking free of convention. He led product innovation efforts at several iconic Silicon Valley companies, including Becton Dickinson, Convergent Technologies, Hewlett Packard, and Next Computer, before setting out as an entrepreneur. His product. development consulting company, PacifiX, had a portfolio of more than 20 consumer, industrial, and medical products central to over $1B in acquisitions. Clients included, Brita (Clorox), Kalpana (Cisco Systems), Cytek, General Surgical Instruments (Ethicon), Radiotherapeutics (Boston Scientific), and Integrated Vascular (Abbot). Prior to starting LiveLeaf, he was cofounder of PercSys Inc., a urology device venture. Alex earned a BS in Mechanical with Electrical Engineering from Stanford in 1981, and a Masters in Engineering Product Design from Stanford in 1983.
