Mansaku Itami was born on January 2, 1900 in Matsuyama, Japan. He was a writer and director, known for Te o tsunagu kora (1948), Sengoku kitan: Kimagure kaja (1935) and A Migrating Bird's Souvenirs of the Kiso Valley (1934). He was previously married to Ikeuchi Kimi. He died on September 21, 1946 in Kyoto, Japan.
