Alex heads the Investment and Business Performance group for Iberdrola Renewables. The department has accountability for financial modeling within Iberdrola Renewables and for providing strategic support across the business. Additionally, Alex is the Chief Compliance Officer for Iberdrola Renewables. Prior to these roles, Alex was responsible for. U.S. Internal Audit activities across both renewables and gas.. Before working at Iberdrola Renewables and its predecessor, PPM Energy, he was head of Strategic Policy & Analysis at PacifiCorp. Prior to being part of ScottishPower’s acquisition team of PacifiCorp in 1998, Alex held a variety of senior roles at ScottishPower, U.K. in the areas of strategic planning, performance management and accounting. Alex initially joined ScottishPower in 1990.. Alex holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Aberdeen and a Masters of Business Administration from the Edinburgh Business School.
